Property Name: Quebrada Linda

Region: So/Cent Pac. Coast, Southern & Central Pacific Coast between Puntarenas and Golfito/Osa Peninsula
City/Town: Platanillo
Short Description: This gorgeous small mountain farm has creek frontage, lots of usable land and used to be a tree farm, so lots of timber for construction.
Property Size: 3 Hectares (7.41 acres)
Asking Price: $75,000.00
Full Description: In order to get to the property one has to cross a small creek, which fronts the property. Though the crossing itself is shallow and could easily be bridged, there are several very beautiful cascades and swimming holes further upstream. The property itself slopes up gently, and flattens out regularly. There are at least 4 potential building sites on the property, all of which offer spectacular vistas of the surrounding mountains. The property is wooded but most of the trees are planted, amarillon being the most abundant. The flat areas are cleared but a bit overgrown, and other areas can easily be cleared by harvesting the existing timber. The soil is reddish at the higher flat areas, but a nice dark brown once one gets closer to the stream.

There are existing but roads on the property that would only need to be crowned and graveled that, even though they have been in place for years, are in excellent condition. Electricity is at the property boundary, and municipal water is about 200 feet from the property line. Cellphones work, and the pavement can be reached within about 4 minutes. Once on the pavement Dominical is about 15 minutes drive, San Isidro about 20.

The owner has decided to sell off this part of the farm and keep the adjacent slope in order to preserve the forest on it and thus make sure his views will never change. Though the property has development potential, it would be ideal fro someone looking for a compound or self-sustaining small farm close to both Dominical and San Isidro. Priced to sell quickly!
